Students from Brčko’s Agricultural and Medical High School attended the premiere of ESAP BiH 2030+ film, shown in this town for the first time on November 28th, 2022. The screening was followed with a productive discussion with environmental expert panelist.
Around 60 students had the opportunity to talk to the experts and share their questions and concerns. Our panelists, Nada Ljubojević (Senior Associate for environment protection at the Department for Spatial Planning and Property Affairs in Brčko District) and Mihajlo Marković (expert on sustainable resources management) both answered interesting questions posed by students and their professors.
Students were interested to learn more about waste management in Brčko, concrete steps done by Brčko district government to improve the current environmental situation and how the government plans to implement the BiH ESAP 2030+ Strategy. They also asked for the opinion about the future employment opportunities in the environmental sector.
