Students from three high schools in Sarajevo (Gymnasium I, Gymnasium II, and Gymnasium III) attended the BiH ESAP 2030+ film screening, followed by a productive discussion with environmental expert panelists.
The event took place in Sarajevo Cineplexx theatre, where around a hundred students had the opportunity to see the movie we had been working on in the last couple of months.
If you haven’t seen the film yet, check it out here:
Our panelists, Mirza Hujić (representative of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH), Irem Silajdžić (expert on waste management) and Maja Maretić Tiro (expert on environmental management), all answered interesting questions posed by students, their professors and moderator Mario Drmać.
Students were keen to learn more about waste management, solar panels, and opportunities to apply for different projects, aiming to utilize more clean energy for their schools and even help humanitarian organizations. Experts also shared their insights on the future development in the environmental field, namely what professions will be much needed in the future to help the BiH environment.
